The eighth edition of Low Priced Educational Books, our annual catalogue of titles with special pricing for sub-Saharan Africa, is now available to registered customers.
It has increased in size every year, and now contains nearly 10,000 titles. The LPEB is now available in three volumes: Arts and Social Sciences, Sciences and Engineering, and Medical and Life Sciences, in both print and CD format.
Subject sections and Excel order forms of the LPEB are now available to registered customers for download from this website - click here. If you are not already registered as a customer, please click the link at the top right of this page to register.

A baby boy, Isaac, was born to Sophie and Christian Hardinge-Walsh. Sophie is our Business Development Manager and Christian is in charge of our warehouse. Both mother and baby are doing well. Congratulations!

Gaulphine Nyirenda is our longest serving representative, and has represented Mallory International in Malawi for more than 20 years. She has received numerous awards for her services to the book industry there. So it was a particular pleasure to welcome her, with her husband Grant and her daughter Jayne, for a working visit to Mallory’s head office in Aylesbeare, UK, before Christmas 2010.

Mallory exhibited for the first time at the AISA conference (the Association of International Schools in Africa) in Nairobi. Rachel Dickson, who leads the Schools Team, managed the stand.
It was a busy and successful few days; international schools in Africa are a growing part of our turnover, and we offer a comprehensive supply service (see the testimonials on our schools page).
October 2010
During their visit to Nairobi in October 2010, Julian and Ulrike Hardinge reached agreement with Salima Okale Lihanda and Margaret Nyambura from Corporate Campus to take over as our local contacts in Kenya.
Both have been working energetically to supply educational DVDs to academic institutions and have been working with Mallory for more than a year. They will already been known to many of our customers. We wish them every success in their new posts.

The seventh edition of Low Priced Educational Books, in two volumes, produced both in print and on CD, was published in May. This is the only comprehensive listing of international titles with special African pricing, and contains nearly 10,000 tertiary textbooks, mostly from major international publishers.
The French edition is also available.

Mallory International signed a major supply contract with Hawassa University, Ethiopia, on the 15th February 2010. Julian Hardinge visited Hawassa in order to arrange the final details and to collect the contract.
